

The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization that encourages informed and active participation in government. Their mission is to empower voters and defend democracy. With over 700 local leagues all over the United States, there are multiple ways for one to get involved. In an effort to encourage young people to get out and cast their vote and be part of the process, on a national level the League of Women Voters has been visiting high schools to register and pre-register students to vote. In the first six months of 2019 alone, league members successfully registered over 20,000 high school students, and their efforts are ongoing.
If you are interested in spreading the message, you can share the film and give a presentation in your community or classroom. The presentation covers topics such as the history of voting, voting rights, and how one vote can truly make a difference.
